Welcome to  Little Jewels International School.

Our school is a complete elementary school with a focus on an international curriculum. The school was founded in 1972 with the intention of giving a good, affordable education to the international community of Kinshasa. We shifted to our new premises in September 2000.

We offer an American Syllabus - Mc Millan,MC/Graw Hill and integrate Canadian and British syllabuses as well. We've classes from Toddler 1 (18months) to Grade Eight (13 Years).

Purposes:

1.Provide the best quality education for international and  local children.

2.Use the international nature of the school to help all children learn to value human diversity.

3.Help those children to better understand and appreciate the culture, environment, and people of D.R.Congo.

Our goal is to offer a balanced, varied, well-articulated, and integrated curriculum which incorporates English language arts, reading and literature, mathematics, social studies, science, art,  physical education, French and Computers. Students are encouraged to express themselves through all of these subject areas. Students develop a sense of respect, responsibility, understanding and concern toward all other persons. Student behavior reflects self-discipline based on their sense of respect.
